Education

I graduated in the top 10 of my class in high school out of 143 students. I graduated Cum Laude from West Virginia University in 2018 with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, with an emphasis in Bioengineering/ Biometric systems and a Computer Science minor.

Experience

I am currently an Electrical Engineer full-time, but love tutoring and teaching STEM. I used to tutor in high school and college. I took AP classes and took college math in high school, so I am used to the curriculum. As an engineer, I had to take Calculus 1-4, chemistry, and a lot of other related math, engineering, and computer science courses. I held an internship with NASA in high school and various internships throughout my college career. I also did a rotation program with my company after graduating college which allowed me to travel the country and see different products, sites, and projects every six months for two years. Now, I design automotive sensors.

Hobbies

I love to read, cook, be outdoors, travel, workout in the gym, and watch Netflix when I'm feeling lazy! I also love working with the non-profit, Boolean Girl to teach STEM and programming to young girls and underrepresented groups. I am the webmaster for IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE), a professional society for Electrical Engineers. I am also still actively involved in the rotation program within my company that I participated in.
